The wine's nose bursts with orange blossom, with background notes of wet stone. On the palate lively yellow fruit, apple, pear nectar and lightly toasted pecans, are restrained and focused by generous natural acids, with hints of slate which guide a direct, tactile finish.

The growng season started breezy warm, with a earlier-than-normal budbreak, flowering, and fruit set. The warm, mild, and dry weather continued throughout the spring and summer all the way to the beginning of harvest; there was almost threat of rain and very few hot days the entire season. The dryness of the weather caught up with the vines a bit in later in the season, and the grapes positively rushed in the door come September.

Aroma: lemon verbena, hints of blonde toffee, passionflower, farmers' cheese

Palate: Rome apple skin, lightly toasted pecans, pear nectar, hints of slate

Teac Mor sits on the eastern edge of the Laguna De Santa Rosa. The vineyard, once a rich grazing land, sits on a bench of free-draining gravels and alluvium. A low, foggy spot, this vineyard ripens far later than higher vineyards to the west.

Aroma: Lemon creme, Earl Grey tea, orange pippin apple, hints of tarragon and caraway

Palate: Surprisingly rich, generous and broad, with alternating flavors of citrus and baking spice. The breadth of the mouth is given cut and definition by a firm backbone of natural acids, leading to a memorable finish.

2014 was one of the earliest harvests on record. A dry winter, February rains and a very mild spring triggered flowering in early May. Warmer temperatures allowed for an even fuit set throughout May and early June. Remarkably dry weather throughout July and August provided optimal ripening conditions and adequate yields, with some of our fruit being picked as early as August 20th.

This wine is a exploration of the joys of Sauvignon Blanc. Vibrant flavors of grapefruit and pineapple blend with deeper background notes of blond honey, lemon curd and the slightest whisper of oak.

Abundant late winter rainfall was followed by a spring that was relatively void of our usual cold & wet maritime conditions provided ideally moderate weather conditions for a successful bloom and fruit set. Late spring through summer was characterized by below average temperatures throughout, which delayed ripening 2 to 3 weeks as compared to previous years. The long cool summer finally peaked with a few warm days just toward the end of veraison which helped even out cluster maturity as it moved ever so slowly toward harvest. The final weeks of the season resulted in almost unbearably leisurely fruit sugar accumulation and higher than usual acid development and excellent juice chemistries at harvest.
